It's a busy year here at Grimm Sleeper Productions, with several announced short films soon starting production, and the long-awaited entry of Waltz onto the festival circuit.
The most notable of the bunch, "One Good Scare", is a longer short (20+ min) slated to begin filming late this summer. The script for the film is locked, and preproduction has begun, with Jason Proakis's More Gore Effects already testing some of the gruesome effects we'll see in the film. The story follows fading YouTube star Augustus "Augie" Frye as he struggles to regain his viewers with an unprecedented new prank that may just go too far.
Much earlier on the production slate, we have two "micro" shorts (10 minutes or less), written and directed by Joshua D. Maley:
First Night is a short horror story about a father left alone with his newborn baby for the evening.
415 is a frightening tale of a young woman who encounters the same number over and over.
2017 is a big year for Grimm Sleeper Productions as we inch ever closer towards work on our first (and long-awaited) feature film, The Way of Seeming!
