DFF Production Begins

Production got underway for Grimm Sleeper Productions' newest short film, DEAD FRIENDS FOREVER. The cast and crew descended on the town of Rochester, PA, high atop one of the many hills in the town, to film at an abandoned house.

Cast present included Maddy Cox and Em Sullivan, who play Ren Emmons and a mysterious undead ghoul, respectively. Scenes were filmed both inside and outside the property. Also on set was Director Josh Maley, AD Matt Diulus, Director of Photography Kevin Kukler, AC Roger Gelik, Boom Operator Russ Proakis, as well as Jason Proakis and Tyler Roman of More Gore Effects, and PA Alyssa Maley. Tony Campos, the film's military advisor, was also present to help out, although no military scenes were filmed yet.

The short has 2-3 more days of filming left, including one more at this same location that will reportedly feature significant amounts of gore and a lot of extras. Check out the below candid images from the first day and stay tuned for more as production continues!
